1. Acceptance of These Terms
This website at customsmeridian.in (the "Site") is owned and operated by Customs Meridian (the "Company", "we", "us" or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.
2. Nature of the Site and Its Content
The Site is provided for general information about our services and as a means of contacting us. The information on the Site is intended to give a high-level overview of customs and trade-compliance topics and does not constitute legal, tax, customs, or other professional advice. You should not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of information on this Site without obtaining professional advice tailored to your specific facts and circumstances.
While we take reasonable care to ensure that information on the Site is accurate and up to date, customs laws, tariffs and trade-compliance rules change frequently and we make no representation or warranty as to the completeness, accuracy or currency of any content on the Site.
3. Engagement of Services
An enquiry made through the Site, an automated reply, or a preliminary conversation does not by itself create a client relationship between you and Customs Meridian. A binding engagement is created only by a written engagement letter or service agreement signed by an authorised representative of Customs Meridian.
4. Permitted Use
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the Site by any third party. You must not:
- Use the Site in any way that violates any applicable Indian or foreign law or regulation;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, our servers, or any connected system;
- Use any automated system (including scrapers or bots) to extract content from the Site without our prior written consent;
- Submit false, defamatory, or misleading information through the enquiry form or any other channel.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including the Customs Meridian name, logo, text, graphics, icons, layout, design, and arrangement — is owned by or licensed to the Company and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws. You may view and download content from the Site for your personal, non-commercial reference only. Any other reproduction, distribution, modification, public display or commercial use requires our prior written consent.
6. Submissions
Information you submit through the Site (for example, through the contact form) will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By submitting an enquiry, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to share it.
7. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may link to or integrate with third-party services (for example, WhatsApp and Cal ID). We are not responsible for the availability, content, privacy practices or terms of any third-party website or service. Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and is governed by that service's own terms.
8. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and all content on it are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Customs Meridian, its directors, officers, employees, agents or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Site shall not exceed the service fees paid to Customs Meridian under the relevant engagement with the client.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Indian law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Customs Meridian and its officers, employees and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
